India Get

India Gate is a popular walking space for the locals of Delhi. India Gate was constructed in memory of the Indian soldiers who have laid down their lives right from World War 1. There are about 13,000 names of soldiers inscribed on the walls there. You will also find a jyot (a lamp lighted) in the premises for the soldiers who were martyred. India Gate is a symbol of pride and honour for us.

Lotus Temple

A temple that is sketched and constructed in the form of a Lotus flower made of white marble. This building celebrates Baha’i beliefs, which means it is open to everyone regardless of faith. People visit this temple to meditate, practice silence and pray. The temple is surrounded by nine reflecting pools and green gardens.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is a huge, imposing tower made out of red sandstone and is decorated with detailed carvings on the walls, located in Delhi. This beautiful monument was built in the 12th century and is also a part of the complex named Qutub. When you step inside, you will be greeted by the beautiful ruins and gardens of the place. You will also see inspirations from the Mughal empire and dynasty.

Taj Mahal

The timeless beauty, a symbol of love, stands tall in the city of Agra. This beautiful monument was built under the leadership of Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The unique feature about this monument is that it changes colours (Pink, White and Golden) in the day, according to the placement of the sun and moon. Once you reach here, you will also get ot know about the stunning architectural work done by the workers.

Agra Fort

The fort, which once served as the Mughal residence and captured the great Emperor Shah Jahan, is made out of red sandstone, blending both Hindu and Islamic influences. There are many palaces inside the Agra Fort, which served different purposes during the time of the Mughal rule in India. You also get a glimpse of the Taj Mahal from here.

Mehtab Bagh

Mehtab Bagh is a garden that is built across the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal. It was first initiated by Babur and then completed by Shah Jahan. It is said and believed that it has beautiful gardens, and Shah Jahan had identified a spot and named it Black Taj where his tomb or mortal remains would rest. But that never happened. So if you are visiting Taj Mahal, then make sure you visit this garden too.
